Go back and read my message, Ryan – I asked why you never raised this point in the many emails and teleconferences before the F2F on the procedure we would follow.  And you didn’t raise these issues at the F2F either.

As to what was discussed at the F2F – the Minutes for this issue were drafted by Billy van Cannon, and are posted on the CABF wiki, but have not yet been approved for publication.  But is recommend you read Billy’s draft Minutes – they do not support your position.

I feel this deserves calling out on it's own - I do not believe this is not an accurate representation of the F2F. It may have been that you simply didn't understand the discussion at the time, which had suggestions both that the procedure was wrong and discussed alternatives, which Gerv has helpfully summarized. Was it possible this was recorded?

If anything, this highlights the continued importance and significance of accurate records of the Forum's discussions, so that such statements - and any related confusion - can be resolved.
